GLOBAL TURBINE ASIA is a Malaysia-based aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) service provider specialising in helicopter and fixed-wing engines, including their parts and components.
With more than a decade of experience in aviation MRO, Global Turbine Asia is a Safran Certified Maintenance Centre and an EPI Approved Maintenance Organisation, supporting military and civil aviation customers through OEM-authorised technical capabilities, service support and aviation equipment supply.

Helistar has been involved with GTA since 2010, we had several jobs carried out by them. The major one is the overhaul of our Aerial 1D1 engine in December 2014, during this inspection, a flaw was detected but we are very happy to say that GTA was able to identify and rectify it in the shortest possible time.
Global Support Package is a totally new concept which has been introduced to the Royal Malaysian Air Force for the maintenance of the aircraft engines. At first we were quite skeptical to this implementation of this contract as compared to the previous conventional method of the maintenance. However, upon execution we are satisfied with the results.
