YEARLY TECHNICAL AND COMMERCIAL REVIEW 2018

On 10th December 2018 Global Turbine Asia (GTA) Sdn Bhd had a yearly technical review with the Malaysian Army Aviation (MAA) and Airod Sdn Bhd was in charge of the helicopter’s maintenance for the MAA.

The objective of this meeting was focused to review the main engine technical topics of the year in order for GTA to bring solutions meeting for the MAA operational needs. The MAA operates A109 LOH powered by SAFRAN HE ARRIUS 2K2 engines that required reliable engines, high availability rate, and also a local efficient engine support organization to ensure their daily missions achieve in Malaysia.

The new service available within the range of engine Health Monitoring and predictive solutions to track engine life parameters and proactive maintenance action implementation. This is to allow MAA to monitor the engine trend margins (Torque and Temperature) which is free of charge service.

This key event led to mutual discussions which drives GTA to have a better understanding towards the customer expectations in order to adapt the technical and commercial support to the MAA daily operational requirements.
